My Car has A Mind of it's Own | Charlotte + Brad + Penny

I woke up this morning just like any other Saturday with photoshoots on the brain. After charging batteries, checking memory cards, editing some wedding photos I was on my way to my first engagement shoot and that went well with a couple hours to spare until my next one. So I went home looking to take a small break. I parked my car, got out, walked to the mail box and as a looked up from my mail I see my car slowly rolling down my driveway....well it started of slow, and then picked up speed and of course I couldn't peel my jaw off the sidewalk fast enough because the car across the street stopped it instead. It was like a weird scene out of a movie or something.

Anyway, my bumper has a little peeling paint, but otherwise the car is fine.... Not sure what happened. Maybe it wasn't put into park all the way, or knowing me maybe I didn't even put it into park....but I have insurance, so this accident was by far better than my first one. So it didn't ruin my day.

Of course this made me late to my next shoot, but all for the best because I got the beautiful lighting of the sunset for Charlotte and Brad's engagement photos.

They also brought their dog Penny, who is such a cutie pie.

Charlotte loves to laugh.

I try not to pose my clients too much so sometimes I try to wait until they just do something naturally on their own and this was all Charlotte and Brad.

  1. We love 'em! Can't wait to see the rest. Boo for car accidents though (or car rolls).
